James Anderson

Managing Director

With over 14 years of experience in the Australian Radio Industry - James 'Turbo' Anderson has worked with some of the largest radio networks in Australia. During his career in radio, James hosted a number of notable events, including the Coca-Cola Live and Local Tour (Sydney Superdome) and the M-One Music Concert (Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium). He also had the opportunity to travel the world interviewing popular music artists, most notably, Metallica, Pearl Jam and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. He also had time to develop a rather special love/hate relationship with Chad Kroeger (lead singer of Nickelback), which helped him reach number one in the ratings in 2006.

At that time, James elected to leave radio to focus on developing his video productions skills. He worked in the United States as the Video Manager for the International Gymnastics Training Centre.

After returning to Melbourne in 2008, James took his existing business Cucumber Entertainment Network (specializing then in website design and hosting) and redeveloped it as Turbo Productions, adding video production, event production and photography to it’s list of services.

Kristin Ninko Anderson

Managing Director

Coming from a background in entertainment production, Kristin Anderson has extensive experience in a number of creative industries, most predominantly in live performance as a writer, director and producer.

Kristin attended the New York Conservatory of Dramatic Arts before jumping into a career in the entertainment industry that has included live theatre, ice skating productions, television and even cruise ships.

Upon moving to Melbourne in 2008, Kristin has been working with the National Ice Sports Centre of Australia (Medibank Icehouse) developing programs for athletes and managing the Skate School, Hockey School and Figure Skating Academy, while also lending her entertainment skills to major events and television appearances.

Now a member of the Turbo Productions team, Kristin is dedicated to continuous creative development and providing world-class entertainment and production services to our amazing clients.

Troy - Videographer

Troy's passion for capturing images and memories goes back to his high school days, which really doesn't seem THAT long ago. Back then it was the rush of seeing images come to life right before his eyes in the darkroom at Melbourne High School... or maybe it was the fumes from the chemicals. These days he gets the same enjoyment from editing video in our Docklands office, telling the story that belongs to our customers through the images we've captured for them.

Troy comes from a strong Business and IT background having managed complex Projects and Events in some of Australia's most recognised big business and government agencies. As well as being one of our Videographers, Troy is a keen family man, the National Services Manager for Outside the Cubed, a corporate management specialist firm and does volunteer work as the Secretary for the Change Management Institute of Victoria... and he jumps off buildings for fun on the side!

For Troy, in everything he does, it always the people he deals with that he is primarily concerned about. When he has them in his lens, it isn't a job, it is his passion, his desire to tell their story that drives him. In recent years, Troy has rubbed shoulders with some of the biggest names on the International Comedy circuit, produced countless video and photo-stories for the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and filmed our corporate and celebrity clients including Johnny Weir, Brodie Holland and Sarita Stella-Holland.

Sharon - Photographer

Sharon has over 10 years experience under her belt photographing weddings both here in Australia and overseas, and loves nothing more than being able to help her clients re-live their special day with memories to last a lifetime. Sharon is also the official photographer for John Salanitri Racing Stables, providing images to the stable for the website. To show her diversity, Sharon also provided Stills Photography for the short film Minnie Loves Junior recently awared the Jury Special Mention Prize at the prestigious Berlin Film Festival and has provided stills work for TV Commercials for Medibank Icehouse in Docklands. Sharon also continues to be contracted annually to the world renowned International Gymnastics Training Centre in the US as Director of the Photography Department.

Chris - Videographer

Chris has been working in the media industry for the past five years. In 2005 he graduated with a BA (Media Studies) from RMIT University, after which he traveled around the world producing promotional videos for several travel companies. Upon returning to Australia, Chris worked in post-production and media services at Digital Pictures and then moved to Image Control, a smaller production company where he oversaw the bulk of work as the Production Manager. In that time Chris has produced numerous wedding and event coverage videos and has also worked with a number of environment groups, NGOs and government agencies producing promotional and education videos. Chris's passions include documentary filmmaking, music and food production.

Arterium - Videographer / Photographer

Arterium (Arty) is a highly creative video production all-rounder who specialises as a freelance camera operator and is also passionate about photography. As well as hundreds of weddings - Arty has filmed at events such as Byron Bay Blues Festival and worked with artists including John Legend, Grace Jones, BB King, Ben Harper, Michael Franti, The Cat Empire and many more. Known for his professionalism, he also has a keen eye for detail and a creative angle you’re after to capture your special day.

Belinda - Videographer

Belinda has been filming weddings with Turbo Productions for over 5 years.  With a non-obtrusive passion for being involved on your wedding day - Belinda captures the emotion, the tears, the beautiful dresses & suits and the finer details such as the fresh flowers and jewellery.  During the one big special day of your life, you can rest assured that everything possible is being captured for a memorable viewing experience for your and your family.

Taryne - Videographer

Taryne has been in the video production industry for over four years, and in that space of time has built quite a substantial reputation in the Gippsland and Melbourne regions, capturing events ranging from corporate events to weddings, web, live sport and music events and much more. Taryne caters for you and your individual needs, in a vast array of celebrations and events with outstanding attention to detail.
